Greenwashing

I was tasked to produce a piece of media that critiques a way that design has been ethically problematic. A magazine spread was my chosen media to express my concerns about greenwashing but also to encourage designers to use design to improve these practices.

The illustration elements evoke a bubbly and organic style. I used the illustrations as a tool to juxtapose the content of the article which critiques several brands that utilize similar styles to mask and mislead customers into thinking that are environmentally conscious.
